The name Baccaresca derives from "berry". This adequately describes the vegetation surrounding the castle.

On the 660 hectares of the Baccaresca estate, cereal is grown to feed the 1000 cows that that produce 70,000 kg of meat per year and 10,000 liters of milk per day, making the estate the largest producer of high quality milk in Umbria.

The centuries-old wood is a magical place for a walk looking for mushrooms and truffles, and for strolling by its river banks, 2 lakes, country houses and 18th century mill. A beautifully natural setting, ideal for team building activities, such as biking, canoeing and fishing, or why not, for the unique experience of milking a cow.
